Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no
comparisons made on feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales.
Slaughter cows 9.50 lower, slaughter bulls steady. Feeder Steers: Medium
and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none
reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported,
500-600 lbs none reported. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 121.00-
124.00; Boners 80-85% lean 123.00-143.00; High Dressing 150.00; Lean 85-
90% lean 118.00-129.00; Lean Low Dressing 94.00-115.00. Slaughter bulls:
Average Dressing 1430-2035 lbs 146.00-165.00, Low Dressing 1110-1475 lbs

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 990-1255 lbs Young Aged Cow with

Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs not reported. Sows live

SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 1 to 6 cents higher; elevator
bids 4.11-4.76, processor bids 4.21-4.56. New crop soybean bids were 10
to 11 cents higher; elevator bids 9.51-9.86, processor bids 10.51, and
export 10.46. Wheat bids were mixed, 1 cent lower to 6 cents higher;
elevator bids 5.18.
Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.74
higher at 67.05.
